Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Xenium Cloud Technologies (“we”, “us”), based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, handles personal data when you visit argivio.com or contact us. It covers this website only. How client data is handled inside an Argivio deployment is set out in the contract with each institution.

Xenium Cloud Technologies is the controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hi@xeplatform.com.

What we collect and why

• Enquiries. The contact form opens your own email app; it does not send data to our servers. When you email us, we use your name, organisation, email address and message to reply and to discuss a possible engagement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
• Cookie choice. We set one essential cookie to remember whether you accepted or declined optional cookies.
• Optional analytics. Only if you accept, we may use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer.
• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle it and for up to two years afterwards, unless a longer period is required by law or an engagement follows. The cookie-choice cookie lasts 180 days.

Who we share it with

We use service providers for hosting and email, bound by data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Email us to exercise these rights. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
